NFL Star Davante Adams Gets Clean MRI After Dirty Hit

By TheBlast Staff

Green Bay Packer's wide receiver Davante Adams got some good news after a serious injury in Thursday nights NFL game against the Chicago Bears.

Adams suffered a concussion, but an MRI scan did not show any traumatic injuries, according to Ian Rapoport.

Adams suffered a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit by the Bears' Danny Trevathan in the third quarter of the game after catching a short pass over the middle of the field and being stood up by another defender.

Trevathan was not ejected from the game, but the hit is reportedly under review for a possible suspension from the league. He also received a ton of hate over social media for the dirty hit.
