Nelly is read to move on with his life and get back to making music after an investigation into sexual assault was dropped against the star, and he says he continues to stand with women and “real survivors” of sexual assault.

Nelly tells The Blast, “I am very thankful to the U.K. police for thoroughly investigating the false allegations against me and I am satisfied with the results of this case and the previous one in the US, both driven by the same attorney, both being dropped.”

He continues, “I stand with women and real survivors and can’t wait to just focus on what I love, family, music and reconnecting with the fans that have stood by me through these turbulent times.”

The investigation into the “Country Grammar” star was over a Jane Doe accusing Nelly of sexual assault following a 2017 concert of his in Essex. Nelly has always denied the allegations of wrongdoing.

The accusers attorney, who represented both Jane Doe and a previous woman who dropped her claims against Nelly, publicly claimed her client had ceased working with UK police and called them out for a “shoddy” investigation.
