Naomi Watts Remembers Heath Ledger on the 10th Anniversary of His Death

Naomi Watts has Heath Ledger on her mind today.

"Thinking about this beautiful soul today. 10 years ago he left this world," she wrote on Instagram. "He was a true original. Heart always on his sleeve, with the most powerful charisma, strength, humor and talent. I will never forget his gentle spirit. ❤️ #heathledger."

Watts and Ledger dated from 2002 to 2004.

Ledger passed away on January 22, 2008 from an accidental overdose. He had six different drugs in his system at the time of his death, including two strong painkillers, two anti-anxiety medicines and two sleeping aids.
