Mel B Says Next Year of 'America's Got Talent' Up in the Air, Worried About Her Renewal

Mel B is setting the stage for the possibility of being unemployed come October and she is now taking legal steps to ensure she'll be able to cover her bills.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Mel B claims she could easily be replaced as a judge on "AGT," which would cause major financial strain on the pop-star. The claims were made in the ongoing nasty divorce with estranged husband, Stephan Belafonte.
Mel B explains that, "I am currently a judge on the NBC television show, America’s Got Talent. I am currently in contract until the end of October 2018. I do not know if I will be asked back as a Judge on America’s Got Talent or if they will renew my contract, adding "My current state of financial affairs is of utmost concern due to the fact that Stephen and I have immense tax debts and have been unable to repay those debts.”
She has been a judge on the talent competition since the 8th season, back in 2013, and throughout her time on the show has worked alongside Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel.
The 13th season just started in May and runs through September. Be on the lookout for Mel B to really make an impression during the live shows and make sure she locks up another year on primetime!
