Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex now has an official coat of arms and it bridges the gap between Royal swag and Cali swag.
Kensington Palace just released the coat of arms, which was approved by Her Majesty The Queen. The blue background on the shield represents the Pacific Ocean while the "two golden rays" across the shield are meant to symbolize the sunshine in California, where Meghan Markle previously called home.
Also included are a collection of poppies, California's state flower. There are three quills which represent "communication and the power of words."
Markle was said to be very involved with the design of the coat of arms to make it "personal and representative."
Being a Royal is pretty cool.
