Former “RHOC” star Meghan King Edmonds posted a bump picture on Instagram today that looks awfully familiar. That’s because it’s basically the same one Beyoncé posted to announce she was expecting twins with husband Jay-Z.
The original Bey photo showed the queen in front of a flower wall, gently touching her preggo belly and covered by a veil. Edmonds posted the exact same thing on her Instagram Friday, writing, “If I can’t be Queen Bey I’ll settle for King Edmonds,” adding several hashtags including, “#twinscomingsoon #imitationisflattery #thisIsNotMyMaternityShoot”
If I can’t be Queen Bey I’ll settle for King Edmonds #twinscomingsoon #imitationisflattery #thisIsNotMyMaternityShoot —————————————- Incredible photos and shoot organized by @heathermohrphotography #stlouismaternityphotographer fresh flowers by @awildflowershop makeup by @mwmakeupdesigns and hair (all those clip-in extensions!) by @salonmarosie (all your Stl needs!)
This is damn near close identical to Beyoncé’s shoot which she posted in February of 2017 and, incidentally, got over 11 million likes on the social media platform. Edmonds’ post is well liked by her fans but not quite at Bey levels. So far, none of Beyoncé’s loyal fanbase seems to have a problem with the copycat.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but we’ll see what the Bey hive has to say about that.
