Mark Wahlberg has announced that he will donate $1.5 million dollars to the Time’s Up legal fund in Michelle Williams’ name.
The hefty donation is the same amount Wahlberg was reportedly paid for his “All The Money In The World” reshoots while his co-star Michelle Williams received less than $1,000.
Wahlberg said in a statement to Deadline, “Over the last few days my reshoot fee for ‘All The Money in the World’ has become an important topic of conversation. I 100% support the fight for fair pay and I’m donating the $1.5 million to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in Michelle Williams’ name.”

WME, which represents both Wahlberg, Williams and Ridley Scott also donated an additional $500,000 on behalf of the actress.
Wahlberg, his salary and the pay gap came under scrutiny after a USA Today report alleged Wahlberg refused to approve Christopher Plummer and move forward with reshoots until he was paid over $1 million.
The Ridley Scott drama quickly scheduled reshoots around Thanksgiving after sexual assault allegations surfaced against Kevin Spacey, who was originally set to play J Paul Getty. Spacey was replaced by Christopher Plummer who reshot his key scenes.
