Mark Viera says Louis C.K. will have an opportunity to be forgiven for his actions, but he doesn't think the powerhouse comic should get a free pass just because he's a big star.
Viera was out in Los Angeles this week when he spoke on Louis staying out of the spotlight since he admitted to sexual misconduct with multiple women over the years. Viera says he's a big fan of Louis, but not a big fan of what he did.
He says that Louis doesn't get a "free pass," but because he's a comic genius and entertains the masses, he should get an opportunity to be forgiven.
As we previously reported, Louis recently showed up to the Comedy Cellar in NYC and sat at the famed Comic's Table. He has not yet announced a return to the stage.
Viera, on the other hand, is performing June 1 at Carnegie Hall.
