Mariah Carey's Christmas tour will be getting an even later start as the singer was forced to cancel more shows before she kicks things off.
Carey wrote on Instagram, "Like most, I’m thankful for my overall health… for which I need a bit more time to get right. Doctors have ordered a few extra days of rest before I can finally fly to New York and take the stage for my Christmas Tour."
She concluded, "While this news disappoints me to share, I am grateful to be on the mend and for the support from all of you - it means the world to me! See you from the stage soon darlings!"
Carey canceled three shows in New York, but will perform there starting on December 2. She is still scheduled to perform on November 30 in Los Angeles at a benefit concert for World AIDS Day.
She had previously canceled two other shows due to an upper respiratory infection.
