"Mamma Mia!" fans can rejoice because the much-anticipated sequel to the 2008 musical hit has finally arrived ... here we go again!
Meryl Streep finally confirmed she *is* in fact in the new film by showing up to the U.K. premiere wearing a dress the color of the film's iconic blue. Up until now, the stars were mum on whether the Hollywood legend would reprise her role.
Streep walked the red carpet alongside her on-screen daughter, Amanda Seyfried, and on-screen mother, who is played by none other than Cher.
Despite the fact that Cher is only a few years older than Streep, she told PEOPLE at the premiere that she was "thrilled to death" about the chance to play her mom.
Two iconic Oscar winners in one movie? Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
OG cast members from the first flick, like Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth, are joined in the film by Mamma newcomer Lily James, who plays young Meryl.
"Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" is out nationwide June 20, 2018.
