‘Dance Moms’ Star Maddie Ziegler Getting Sweet Payday for Sia’s Directorial Debut

Being Sia‘s muse pays well, just ask Maddie Ziegler.

Ziegler recently signed on to star in the movie, “Sister,” a musical drama set to be released next year starring Kate Hudson. The film marks Sia’s directorial debut.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Ziegler will pull in $85,000 for the film. In addition, her deal calls for her to get an additional $50,000 for a Golden Globe nomination and another $50,000 if she wins.

The Oscars, as you can imagine, pay a little more — Ziegler gets $50,000 for an Oscar nomination, but would take home $200,000 if she wins.

The documents say Ziegler also gets a piece of merchandise profits and a small percentage of the profits for songs she is featured on.

Sia has used the “Dance Moms” in countless music videos, including “Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart,” “Cheap Thrills” and “The Greatest.”
