Mac Miller’s Will Approved by Court, Attorney to Handle Late-Rapper’s Estate

The final arrangements for Mac Miller will carry on just as he planned after the court approved the filing of his probate case following the hip-hop star’s death.

According to court records, attorney David Byrnes was officially appointed as the personal representative of Miller’s estate. As we reported, the late-rapper’s brother, Miller, was also given responsibilities in handling his estate, along with his parents, who were listed as beneficiaries in his 2013 will.

Miller died in September, and since then he has been buried at Homewood Cemetery near his home in Pittsburgh. Eerily enough, he filmed his music video, “Nikes On My Feet,” at the same cemetery.

Now that Byrnes has been appointed in charge of the estate, he’s required to monitor all the money and provide a report detailing the distribution of Miller’s assets.

As for the lasting impact of Miller’s death, many are speculating that his untimely passing is what drove a wedge between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, ultimately splitting them up and ending their engagement.
