Inside the House Where Mac Miller Died: Photos

Mac Miller‘s life did not come to a tragic end in a high-rise luxury apartment or a fancy mansion in the Hollywood Hills, but in a family-style home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.

The “Small Worlds” rapper was renting the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom 3,000 sq ft for around $8,500 per month, according to the listing for the home. The property listing boasted about the privacy offered, as well as the “panoramic views that go on forever.”

It’s unclear if anyone else lived at the house with Miller, but the 911 call was placed by a male inside the home. As we reported, dispatchers were prepared for a patient suffering from cardiac arrest when they arrived, but the hip-hop star was never transported to the hospital.

Hours before he died, Miller posted IG video of the last track on his new album, “So It Goes.” It’s unclear if the recording was made inside his home, but some fans are theorizing the posting may have been a premonition about his death because of lyrics like “You could have the world in the palm of your hand, you still might drop it” and  “My God, it go on and on just like a circle, I go back to where I’m from.”

Moments after the singer died, fans also began attacking Ariana Grande online for allegedly somehow being responsible for his demise. She took major heat after the breakup with Miller, when it was rumored she had cheated with SNL star, and now fiancé, Pete Davidson. Grande was forced to turn off the comments on her Instagram.

After the split, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer said her relationship with Miller was “toxic,” and he said he was happy for her engagement, but admitted the entire ordeal was very “strange.”

The young rapper’s family released a statement after his death; “Malcolm McCormick known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26,” adding, “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. thank you for your prayers.”

As we reported, investigators are trying to determine what, if any, drugs the hip-hop star may have taken prior to his death. His autopsy will conducted this weekend or first thing Monday.
