"Today Steve Wynn has sued me personally for speaking out on behalf of one of my clients who accuses him of sexual harassment, and who has witnesses to back up her allegations. Bring it on. I will not be bullied. I will not be silenced," Bloom said in a press release.
As The Blast first reported, Wynn filed a defamation lawsuit against the attorney today. In the suit, Wynn claims Bloom falsely accused him of forcing her client, as well as other dancers, to strip down to their bras and panties while he starred at them uncomfortably during dress rehearsals for one of his casino shows.
Wynn says in documents obtained by that Bloom's claims are bogus because he's legally blind. However, Bloom isn't backing down from her client's accusations.
The attorney says that she and her law firm will double down on the fight against Wynn.
"In my opinion, Mr. Wynn sued me in an attempt to intimidate other women. This time, he chose the wrong woman," Bloom said. "I will fight him in court, and I will win, just as I have won against so many other high profile men.
Bloom, who's made a reputation for herself representing female victims of harassment and assault also suggest that Wynn might not have heard of the #MeToo movement which she says, "is even more powerful than an unemployed billionaire."
