LeSean McCoy and his ex-girlfriend had so much turmoil in their relationship, that the NFL star told police he was worried about the woman accusing him of abuse, especially considering the “climate” of being a professional football player.

According to a July 2017 incident report obtained by The Blast, officers from the Milton Police Department responded to McCoy’s home on July 3 in response to a domestic disturbance.  When they arrived, they observed the Buffalo Bills star’s clothes piled up in the driveway.

McCoy told cops he had recently broken up with Delicia Cordon, and that she was accusing him of cheating. He also accused Cordon of holding on to some high-end jewelry pieces which had been loaned to the star for industry events.  He said he had asked for the jewelry back multiple times.

Cops noted that McCoy was “very concerned that Cordon may either try to take things or make false accusations about him.”

In fact, McCoy told police “given the climate of domestic abuse in his profession,” that “he was trying to be very careful around [Cordon.]”

During that call, Cordon was actually placed under arrest after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant for a failure to appear in court on a traffic ticket.

Police responded to two other domestic incidents since that July argument, once in April 2018 and once in June 2018.

As we reported, Cordon has accused McCoy of orchestrating the assault and robbery against her from earlier this week.

He has denied all allegations of involvement, and no arrests have yet been made.
