LeSean McCoy denies beating up an ex-girlfriend after a friend of the woman posted brutal photos showing the woman bloodied and bruised.
The Buffalo Bills star running back posted Tuesday on social media, writing, "For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false. Further more, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months."
According to reports, the Bills are aware of the allegations.
McCoy was responding to an Instagram post by a friend of Delicia Cordon, claiming McCoy not only abused Cordon but also his dog and his child.
"@shadymccoy is THE DEVIL!!! YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!!!!!!" her friend wrote. "We didn’t say anything about how you beat your dog 'Henny' into kidney failure. Let’s not talk about all the times my best friend had to stop you from VICIOUSLY beating your son for small things like peeing in the bed. We kept quiet about your drug usage ... all the ILLEGAL steroids and needles you were using, but we will not keep quiet about this!!!!!!"
She continued, "I can’t believe you did this to my best friend!!!!! YOUR KARMA IS GOING TO BE SO REAL!!!!!! The world needs to know what type of animal you really are!!!!!!! This was just her yesterday on the left and now this morning this is her on the right!!!"
The original post accusing McCoy of assaulting Cordon has since been deleted.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, McCoy sued Cordon last month in an effort to have her removed from his home in Georgia. He says in the documents that they are "no longer in a relationship" and he allowed her to live in the home rent-free for five months.
In prior filings, Cordon said she lived with McCoy since October 2016 and the couple had been dating for at least two years. She claims that on or around Memorial Day of this year, McCoy discussed marriage with her and on the next day, she claims he gave her "a substantial gift."
But on June 1, when she was out of town, Cordon claims she was forced to call police when she saw security cam footage showing McCoy's "friends, family members, and laborers" removing her "furniture and furnishings from the home" without her knowledge.
This is a developing story ...
