According to documents obtained by The Blast, Colby Jackson says that due to Paddock’s “criminal conduct,” he has been “harmed and incurred damages.” Jackson says in his docs, “The physical and mental pain, suffering, anguish, and disability which Colby Jackson is reasonably certain to experience in the future as a result of the incident.”
Jackson was shielding his girlfriend, Shannon Muttram, when he was shot in the upper arm. Muttram was also injured in the shooting and filed a $2 million claim against Paddock as well.
The couple, who are both EMTs, helped treat each other until they reached a hospital.
Care Ambulance Service is pleased to report EMT Colby Jackson and EMT Shannon Muttram are in good spirits following the tragic event in Las Vegas. Shannon sustained a minor gunshot injury to her back and has been discharged from the hospital. Colby sustained a gunshot to the right upper humerus resulting in an arterial bleed and is scheduled for surgery this evening. During the incident Colby shielded Shannon with his body until they found their way to a treatment area. Shannon assisted and treated Colby until they could get to the treatment area. Colby and Shannon together provided medical assistance to others in the treatment area until they were transported to a local hospital themselves. They remain together at the hospital with family by their side. In response to inquiries we have received, any Care Ambulance employees interested in donating PTO to either Shannon or Colby, please contact Mitch Felde at email@example.com. Our continued prayers go out to Shannon, Colby and everyone affected by this event. #careambulance #wetakecareofpeople #wetakecareofeachother #speedyrecovery #prayforlasvegas #route91harvest #lasvegas #lasvegasshooting #lasvegasheroes #heroes @falckpeople #falckpeople
