Las Vegas Massacre: Good Samaritans Transport Victims in Pickup Truck (VIDEO)

In the immediate aftermath of the deadly Las Vegas shooting, concert goers and emergency responders worked hand in hand to transport victims to the hospital as quickly as possible, which included loading the wounded into pickup trucks and rushing down the strip.

The Blast obtained video of a pickup truck loaded with victims as it darted towards Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center moments after the vicious attack Sunday night at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival.

With 59 people murdered and 525 people wounded, responders were having a tough time transporting all the victims to the hospital, so they enlisted the help of motorists with pickup trucks.  The scene at the hospital looked like a war zone after the staff treated hundreds of wounded.

As The Blast previously reported, responding officers were forced to leave victims while they continued to track down Stephen Paddock as he rained gunfire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

By the time SWAT breached Paddock’s hotel room, he appeared to have taken his life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
