In a sneak peek of the new BET show, "Mancave," Odom was discussing how he still has her initials tattooed on his body, even though he knows they aren't getting back together.
He then quipped, "I understand when it's over, it's over. When she was with her second or third NBA ballplayer, I can see that."
But when it came to the topic of Khloe becoming a mother, he had nothing but good things to say.
"I'm happy for her," Odom said. "She took care of me, she'll be a good mother. For real ... A great woman."
Odom and Kardashian were married from 2009 until 2016. Kardashian was famously by his side and took care of Odom after he was hospitalized after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in 2015.
"Mancave" premieres January 18 at 10:30 PM on BET.
