Hollywood's biggest stars collided under one roof to honor Bradley Cooper for his directorial debut, but no stars were more important than his "A Star is Born" co-stars who showed up to support him.

Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott reunited with Cooper to pay tribute to the actor at the Cinematheque Awards on Thursday in Los Angeles. Dressed in their best, the trio looked like a close knit family as they posed with photographers before hitting the stage to talk about their "Star is Born" director.

Gaga, wearing a sheer white dress, held back tears as she talked about their close friendship. "I felt comfortable with Bradley—not just because he's a hunk like Sam—but because Bradley is such a kind and loving and real person," she said during her speech. "I'm so honored to have you as my friend."

"I ran from Stefani for a long time. I put on a superhero cape and called myself Lady Gaga," she continued. "You challenged me to deep dive into a place where I had to see her again, be Stefani again."

Then Gaga got emotional, thanking Cooper for everything he's done for her professionally and personally.

"I'm so grateful to you, not just for making me a better actress, but I've been able to call on you as a friend, and cry and be myself and have you never ever judge me and still respect me as a professional," she said. "I've never had an artistic experience like this before."

Other big names in attendance were Sean Penn, Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Garner, Alyssa Milano, Ed Helms and more!
