Kylie Jenner Defends Self-Made Billionaire Title: ‘Not a Dime in My Bank Account Is Inherited’

Kylie Jenner is hitting back at critics who say she doesn’t deserve the world’s youngest self-made billionaire title, claiming all the chedda she’s made is “100% my own money.”

The Kylie’s Cosmetics founder shut down the naysayers who speculate whether “self-made” is accurate considering her reality TV family. When asked about it by “Interview” in Germany, Kylie responded, “There’s really no other word to use other than self-made because that is the truth. That is the category that I fall under.”

While she defends her title, she also admits that her TV fame did contribute to her cosmetics line success.

“I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans,” she said. “I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100% of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited … and I am very proud of that.”

The 21-year-old created a firestorm earlier this year when she knocked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg off the top spot. He previously held the youngest self-made billionaire title by gaining his fortune at age 23.

The makeup mogul started Kylie Cosmetic’s in 2015 and Forbes has it currently sitting at over $900 million — and that’s just one of Kylie Jenner’s successful ventures.

Later, she flaunted her wealth even more, pulling a boss move by getting money nails.
