Kodak Black was so moved by the tragic death of a fallen police officer he decided to donate to the man's family in hopes of helping out during their time of need.

The "Tunnel Vision" rapper just donated $2,500 to the GoFundMe for Officer Terrence Carraway from the Florence County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina. Officer Carrway was fatally wounded and 6 other officers were injured when a man ambushed them while they were trying to serve a warrant on his adult son.

Sources close to Kodak say the death of Officer Carraway "made a big impression" on the rapper, and he was especially upset about man's family now growing up without a father.

Kodak made the donation under his actual name, Bill K Kapri, and was not looking for any publicity, but confirmed to The Blast that it was, in fact, him.

After Kodak threw in to the pot, Officer Carraway's fund is near it's $60,000 goal.
