Kim Kardashian wants no part of the $100 million battle over lighted cell phone cases and believes a judge should dismiss her from the lawsuit.
Kardashian has been in the middle of an ongoing dispute between a company called Snap Light and LuMee, the makers of the popular lighted case Kim has been promoting for years.
The Queen of Selfies filed her response earlier this week denying that "her celebrity has contributed to or induced infringement" of the Snap Light's patent in any way. She adds that "selfies" have nothing to do with the case.
Kardashian goes on to say that her success does not rely on the LuMee cases and denies the allegation that she "employs an on-call professional Instagram selfie editor at a rate of $100,000 per year."
She is asking a judge to dismiss the case, order Snap Light to pay her legal fees, and hand down an order saying the LuMee cases did not infringe on any patents.
The case is ongoing.
