According to our sources, the birth certificate was filed with the Los Angeles County vital records office. We're told the first and middle name have both been left blank on the certificate.
Kim announced the name Friday afternoon and will no doubt file a supplemental name report to add the name to the birth certificate.
As The Blast previously reported, Kim and Kanye struggled to come up with a name and have spent the last few days trying to decide. Kanye even admitted to photogs on Wednesday the couple couldn't think of a name.
The baby was born via surrogate early Monday morning. Kim made the baby announcement on Tuesday, saying, "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care."
This is the third child for Kim and Kanye: they also have 4-year-old daughter North and 2-year-old son Saint.
