Kim Kardashian did not cruelly photoshop a picture of her 5-year-old daughter, North, to make her appear thinner and NEVER would – she did, however, accidentally post one.
While the choice to slim down any child in a photo is undoubtedly a questionable one, we're told Kim wasn't the one who made it. According to our Kardashian sources, North's mom simply saw the photo on a fan account and posted it without realizing it had been edited.
The troubling edit of North emerged online this week via a side-by-side comparison shortly after Kim posted the doctored photo on Instagram.
The photo – which was taken earlier this month during Kim, Kourtney and Khloé's family vacation in Bali – shows North with a visibly flatter stomach and a smaller waistline and head when compared to the original paparazzi photo. Saint West remains unedited.
We're told Kim would never intentionally retouch a photo of her children to make them appear thinner.
This isn't the first time this has happened. Our sources say similar fansites have photoshopped and posted pictures of the Kardashian family in the past. Just last month, a photo emerged of Kim's youngest, Chicago, where someone smoothed out the 9-month-old's curly hair and forehead.
