Kim Kardashian got to experience first hand the joy her hard work resulted in, after she personally told Alice Johnson that her sentence had been commuted.
Kardashian's attorney, Shawn Holley, tells The Blast, "I just got off the most wonderful, emotional and amazing phone call with Alice, Kim and Alice’s lawyers. Kim was the one to tell Alice that she was being released. It was a moment I will never forget. Once Alice’s family joined the call, the tears never stopped flowing.”
As we reported, President trump signed off on Johnson's release Wednesday, ordering her release from Aliceville Correctional Facility in Alabama.
Kim has vowed to continue working with other organizations and people on prison reform.
