Kevin Spacey has been suspended from the Netflix drama "House of Cards" amid several accusations of sexual misconduct.
Producer Media Rights Capital announced Spacey was suspended from the show while Netflix said late Friday they will no longer be associated with Spacey.
In a statement, the streaming giant said, "Netflix will not be involved with any further production of 'House of Cards' that includes Kevin Spacey."
They continued, "We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film 'Gore,' which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey."
Spacey had been accused of sexual harassment on the set of the show for years, with one former production assistant claims Spacey sexually assaulted him during one of the show’s early seasons.
