Katy Perry almost lost her pooch, until her assistant jumped into action and saved the pup's life by giving her a little bit of CPR.
It all went down a few days ago, when Nugget, Perry's Teacup Poodle, jumped and fell off the bed. According to the singer, she was unresponsive for three minutes. That's when her assistant, Tamra, performed CPR on the little one and brought her back to life.
"I pushed on her little chest and I blew in her mouth and I brought her back to life," Tamra revealed Tuesday in a video shared by the "Swish Swish" singer.
Tamra then reenacted the life-saving skills she used on the pup, which she credited to a viral video she recently saw where a squirrel was resuscitated after being electrocuted.
Perry, who's currently in Europe with the two on her "Witness" tour, took Nugget to the doctor after the scary incident where the pup got an IV and an X-ray.
The singer praised Tamra calling her a "hero." Talk about having ammo for a raise. ?
