It was all waterworks Tuesday morning as Kathie Lee Gifford revealed that she's done with "Today."
Gifford made during the show, saying, "I've been here almost 11 years ... I thought I would stay one year, but something happened along the way."
She said, "I'm going to be leaving the Today show," adding, "I'm thrilled about all the projects that are coming up."
Gifford teared up as she praised Hoda Kotb for her support over the years, and said she's "never worked with a more beautiful group of people."
Kotb couldn't keep it together, and began sobbing while explaining to Gifford, "The moment you stepped into my life with both feet, everything changed."
Luckily, a quick thinking crew member dangled some tissues down from the ceiling for the ladies to towel off before recanting some of their early relationship memories.
Gifford will make her exit from the NBC show in April.
