Alec Baldwin Returns to ‘SNL’ as Donald Trump to Help Mock Kanye West Meeting

Kanye West‘s Oval Office meeting with Donald Trump got the “Saturday Night Live” treatment but it wasn’t any crazier than the real thing.

Alec Baldwin made his first appearance this season as President Trump, referring to the meeting as “no way a publicity stunt.”

“Oh, this guy might be cuckoo,” Baldwin’s Trump thought to himself at one point. “I’ve been in rooms with Dennis Rodman and Kim Jong Un and they made a lot more sense than him.”

Chris Redd took on the part of Kanye West (and Kenan Thompson might have stolen the show as Jim Brown) at one point referring to Trump as his dad.

Redd and Baldwin ended the sketch by hugging it out, with Baldwin’s Trump remarking, “We have a lot more in common than people know. We’re both geniuses, we’re both married to beautiful women and we both definitely have been recorded saying the ‘n-word.'”

Also on Saturday, Kanye West returned to social media with a 10-minute video he titled, “Mind Control.” Kanye is currently in Africa, where he rented out a five-star resort to record a new album.
