Find someone who supports you the way Kanye West supports Virgil Abloh.
Virgil just debuted his first ever show as the creative director of Louis Vuitton Menswear and Kanye West broke down in tears embracing his friend at the end.
Seriously, he was a blubbering mess and it was beautiful. Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were beside Kanye as the tearful embrace went down and, honestly, they didn’t seem to know what the heck was going on.
Abloh took the reigns at LV after the departure of living legend Kim Jones. The Ghanaian-American designer showcased a collection full of crisp white, sheer fabrics and pops of 90s inspired neon that he reworked in a modern way.
(There was even a clear, iridescent duffle bag that made us so emotional we almost cried like Kanye.)
Abloh featured a stunning roster of racially diverse models which included Kid Cudi who walked the runway to Kanye’s song “I Thought About Killing You.”
Several of West’s song’s scored the highly anticipated show.
Real friends, how many of us? At least two.
