Kanye West Breaks Down Crying On Chicago Radio, Blames Slavery Outburst On Lack Of Support

Kanye West broke down in tears during a live radio interview, and says his outbursts can be traced back to one of his senior advisors not being around.

Ye was on WGCI 107.5 Wednesday and spoke on his infamous slavery comments he made before the release of his new album. Kanye says the whole incident would not have happened if his old support system was still in place.

Specifically, he mentions fashion designer Don C as he began to well up with tears. “The downfall of Kanye West is directly related to Don C not being around,” the hip-hop star blubbered, adding, “I told him I need him.”

Don C is a streetwear fashion designer from Kanye’s hometown of Chicago. He is a former exec at G.O.O.D. Music and was a tour manager for Ye.

These days Don works with Nike’s Jordan Brand, and although it’s unclear why he stopped working with Ye, it seems Kanye has not mentally recovered from the breakup.
