Rapper Juice WRLD Sued by a Teenager for Allegedly Ripping Off 'Lean Wit Me'

By TheBlast Staff

Juice WRLD is being sued by a 16-year-old music producer who claims the rapper used one of his beats without permission for one of his biggest songs.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a kid named Jerome Willisch claims he made a song called "Ice" which he believes Juice WRLD used as "the essential beat and foundation" for his song, "Lean Wit Me."

The song was released on May 23, 2018 on Juice's album, "Goodbye & Good Riddance." The video for the song was posted on YouTube last August and has over 36 million views.

Willisch — who filed the suit through a guardian — claims he filed for a copyright on "Ice" ... just last week.

He is suing Juice, producer Nick Mira, Interscope Records, and Universal Music Group and seeking unspecified damages.
