John Barrowman was LIVID after a Target employee allegedly told him he wasn't allowed to buy a gift card for a homeless man.
The "Arrow" actor took to Twitter on Thursday threatening to boycott the company after the experience. Barrowman says the incident – which went down at a West Hollywood location – started when he bought a $40 gift certificate and some clothes for a homeless person outside the store.
"I was lectured by the Target staff that I was not allowed to do that. Target, that is a stupid rule. How dare you tell me as a customer who I am allowed to buy for ... that was a homeless gentleman who needed some help and you need to change your policies," the actor said in his video rant.
Target replied to Barrowman's post on Twitter, "We’re very sorry for the experience you had at the LA Target store. We absolutely do not have a policy against this type of purchase, and are addressing it immediately with the team members involved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."
