Jim Belushi's Wife Files for Divorce on the Anniversary of His Brother's Death

Jim Belushi's wife of nearly 20 years has filed for divorce and she picked a rather somber day to do so.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Jennifer Sloan filed for divorce today in Los Angeles Superior Court. She is citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple was married on May 2, 1998 and they have two children together: 19-year-old daughter Jamison and 16-year-old son Jared. Sloan is seeking joint legal custody of the kids and is also requesting spousal support.
Belushi — who starred on the hit TV series "According to Jim" from 2001-2009 — has been divorced twice before. He has a 37-year-old son, Robert, from his first marriage.
It's worth noting ... Sloan filed for divorce on the 36-year anniversary of the death of John Belushi.
