‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Shows Up as The Situation Gets Sentenced to 8 Months in Prison (UPDATE)

UPDATE

10:45 AM PT: The Situation has been sentenced to 8 months in prison and 2 years of supervised release.

10:00 AM PT: The Situation’s brother, Marc Sorrentino, was just sentenced on his tax evasion charges and was given 2 years and a $75,000 fine. Sitch should be coming up shortly.

The Situation is about to be sentenced for tax evasion, so of course it has been turned into an upcoming episode for reality television.

As Mike Sorrentino prepares to face up to five years in prison for tax evasion Friday morning in New Jersey. Pauly D, Ronnie, Angelina, Snooki and JWoww all showed up to the federal courthouse to support their friend and co-star.

Also in tow was a production crew capturing every moment for the reality show. Sitch has been dealing with the ongoing criminal case during the filming of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” and even had to request special permission to travel to Miami to tape the show.

He was also barred from drinking alcohol, but didn’t need the court to keep him dry because he has been working hard on his sobriety. The reality star was hoping the positive change in his life may contribute to a lighter sentence.
