Jenelle Evans and David Eason are having some marital issues after he brutally beat and killed her french bulldog, but now they have bigger problems at hand and are supporting each other in the mission to get back their children from North Carolina officials.
The former "Teen Mom" stars are due in court today for a hearing related to the custody of their children, who were just taken out of the family home following the incident with Nugget.
Sources close to the couple tell The Blast, Jenelle and David are still a team, especially when it comes to getting their kids back. We're told the singular goal of the two is to regain custody of 2-year-old daughter Ensley, as well as regain rights to have 4-year-old Kaiser return to their home.
We're told Jenelle feels North Carolina officials were "overly aggressive" to take her children after Nugget's death, but she's hopeful after CPS finishes its investigation they will be returned.
Our sources say everyone around Jenelle and David, including the children, are being interviewed by Child Protective Services officials to determine the best possible situation for the children.
As for the future with Jenelle Evans and David Eason, we're told their marriage is still very much up in the air but they will address that situation as soon as they are able to reunite with their kids.
