It’s Business As Usual for James Franco After Oscar Shutout

James Franco doesn’t seem to be missing a beat — he was spotted out to lunch with fellow actor Jeff Garlin one day after being shunned by the Oscars.

Oscar nominations were announced on Tuesday and Franco was left out of the lead actor category. He was a heavy favorite for the nomination going into awards season but that all changed when several allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced against the actor.

Franco and the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star stopped for a midday meal at Joan’s on Third — a popular spot for those in the biz to grab a bite.

Photogs asked the actor about the Oscars, the allegations and his fans, but no dice. Franco stayed mum while heading to his black Porsche SUV.

If the Oscar snub is getting to Franco, he’s certainly not showing it. The day before the nominations were announced, he headed out to catch some waves in Malibu.

Franco already has a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award in 2018 for “The Disaster Artist,” but the Acadamy was in the process of voting for nominees when the news of his alleged sexual misconduct broke.
