Jada Pinkett Smith is confronting her past, including her decision to date Will Smith while he was still married to his first wife, Sheree Zampino Fletcher.

Jada sat down with Sheree for her new Facebook Watch series, “Red Table Talk,” where they discuss their rocky relationship. They cover fights, co-parenting and when the actress moved into the house Sheree once shared with her then-husband. The topics are uncomfortable, to say the least, but they don’t table any subject about their troubled past.

“Because I did not understand marriage, I did not understand divorce,” Jada Pinkett Smith told Sheree. Jada began dating Will in 1995 when he was still technically married to Sheree.

“I probably should have fell back,” she added.

“You think?!?!” Sheree snapped back.

And that’s not the awkward part. The two go deep into their past drama, where Jada admits to being disrespectful and inconsiderate to Sheree. One time, in particular, stands out to Sheree where the two argued with “fighting words” over the phone when she simply wanted to talk to her son, Trey, who she shares with Will.

“I called back and happened to say, ‘Bitch, you living in the house I picked out!’ And you said, ‘It’s my house now,’” she reminisced.

You really have to listen to the whole thing — these ladies have put each other through hell and somehow have come out on the other side.
