Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst had his set interrupted on Tuesday night when a member of the Insane Clown Posse ran on stage and tried to dropkick him ... but failed miserably.

The incident went down at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ during the Rock Allegiance festival. Durst was performing the classic song "Faith" when Shaggy 2 Dope came rushing on stage and attempted to kick Durst from behind.

Shaggy appeared to make some contact with Durst but not much. Security immediately jumped in and dragged Shaggy off the stage, prompting to Durst to tell the crowd, "What a p***y."

Eventually, Durst laughed off the incident and waved goodbye as security cleaned up the situation.
