Howard Schultz is stepping down as the chairman of Starbucks, and while he won’t confirm his political aspirations, somebody may have dropped a big hint that he’s running for office in 2020.

According to records obtained by The Blast, “Schultz2020.com” was registered as a domain on November 12, 2016 … 4 days after Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.

It is heavily speculated that the 64-year-old coffee guru will take a run at the White House, and he told CNBC he had “concern for the country and the standing in the world, the lack of dignity, lack of respect coming from the administration,” adding, “I think we can do much better.”

Kind of interesting; even though the information on who registered the domain is kept private, it’s linked back to an Amazon registrar office in Seattle, WA — also the HQ of Starbucks.

Sure smells like a campaign run is brewing.

The Blast reached out to Howard Schultz for comment.
