Heather Locklear's boyfriend will not face jail time after pleading guilty today to one count of driving under the influence.
According to court records in Ventura County, Chris Heisser was sentenced to 36 months probation, fined $2,377, and has to complete a nine-month DUI program.
Heisser admitted to driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .15 or higher, but got that charge dismissed as part of his plea.
As The Blast previously reported, Heisser was arrested after officers observed a Mercedes driving southbound on the 101 Freeway in Thousand Oaks. The car was driving at an unusually slow speed for a highway, so they stopped the vehicle.
After approaching the driver, cops say they observed signs and symptoms of intoxication of alcohol and did field sobriety test — and police say he blew .19 and .20 on a breathalyzer test.
Heisser’s arrest came just hours after Locklear was arrested after she allegedly “battered her boyfriend and he suffered a visible injury” before their arrival.
