Harry Styles is making a pretty good impression as a rookie television executive because he brought in an ice cream truck during the insane L.A. heat wave.
Styles is an Executive Producer on "Happy Together," centered around a music heartthrob (go figure) who moves in with a suburban couple.
The temperatures in Los Angeles, where the show tapes, have been soaring well over 100 degrees, so Styles hooked up ice cream for the entire cast and crew.
We're told the singer enlisted the help of a Coolhaus Ice Cream truck to make ice cream sandwiches for 2 hours on one of the stages on the CBS Studio Center lot.
Among the offered treats, Coolhaus brought:
Party Time sugar cookies
Black & White whoopie cookies
Coconut Almond Chip
Cookies & Sweet Cream
Chocolate Molten Cake
Dirty Mint Chip
It's unclear how much the One Direction star paid for the truck, but our sweet sources tell us it usually runs about $1,000 per hour to rent the mobile ice creamery.
We're told the desserts were a huge hit, and helped fuel stars like Damon Wayans, Jr. and Amber Stevens West to power through the taping.
The show is set to premiere in the Fall, which will be a perfect time for Harry to rent a hot cocoa truck for the cold weather.
