Han Solo paid tribute to his longtime friend, Chewbacca, while booting up the Millenium Falcon during the opening ceremony of "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge."
Bob Iger kicked off the festivities Wednesday night at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA for the grand opening of the insanely-hyped new land dedicated to "Star Wars."
After thanking everyone for their hard work, he brought up the Godfather of the Galaxy, George Lucas, who got a huge reaction from the hundreds in attendance.
After Lucas spoke, Billy Dee Williams walked onstage and spoke on his time as the smooth-talking Lando Calrissian.
Williams was followed by Mark Hamill, who tried his best, with Chewie, to start up the Millennium Falcon ... to no avail.

Suddenly, Solo's booming voice fell upon the crowd: "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts," the legendary smuggler said before taking the stage to a huge round of applause.
Harrison Ford, who was sporting an impressive beard, took control of the situation and tried his hand at starting up the hunk of junk.
Before taking his shot, Ford announced, "Peter, this one's for you!" before the Falcon kicked into gear along with a huge fireworks display.
Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca since the original "Star Wars," passed away last month at the age of 74. He no doubt would have been in attendance, but it was a special moment for his co-stars to honor him on such a big night.
"Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" is officially open for business, and features a rich landscape full of interactive experiences dedicated to the franchise.
It also features an entire lineup of space-themed booze ... but good luck getting in for a while as reservations are required and it's expected to be jam-packed with fans from around the galaxy for the foreseeable future.
