Halsey didn't come out during her appearance on "Saturday Night Live" and say her relationship with G-Eazy ended because he cheated on her — but she didn't have to.

The talented singer served as both host and musical guest on last night's episode of "SNL." She took the stage for her first performance — the ballad "Without Me" — and about a minute and a half into the performance, the back of the set lit up with graffiti, with the most prominent phrase being, "I'm so sorry Ashley I cheated."

She referenced the performance and the meaning behind it early Sunday morning, tweeting, "as an artist, I have a privilege to remain honest and write about what’s true to me. as a woman, I have a responsibility to not allow myself to be silenced by someone who has done me wrong. my truth will always come through in my art. death over silence, yo."

Halsey (real name: Ashley Nicolette Frangipane) and G-Eazy broke up last July and she made vague reference to the possibility of infidelity shortly after.

The couple seemed to get back together a month later but it didn't last.

Since the breakup, he's been seen around town with a mystery woman while she has been linked to a former Disney star.
