‘Big Little Lies,’ ‘Shape of Water’ Lead Golden Globes Nominations

Monday morning marked the beginning of awards season with the announcement of this year’s Golden Globes nominations.

On the film side, Guillermo Del Toro’s “Shape of Water” lead the way with seven nominations while Steven Spielberg’s “The Post” and “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” each received six nominations.

“Big Little Lies” lead the television nominations with six, including nods for four of the show’s stars: Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley.
