Even though he won't be too far from where he just got busted, G-Eazy won't have any problem taking the stage for his Danish fans.
The 28-year-old hip-hop star is scheduled to perform Sunday night at Den Grå Hal in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Copenhagen Police Department tells The Blast even though he was arrested in Sweden days ago, it will have "no effect" on what he does in Denmark. Police say if Swedish authorities still needed to speak with G-Eazy or requested assistance, then they would go pick him up. But the official made it clear, "What he's done in Sweden, he's done there," and that he is "Welcome to come to Denmark and perform his concert."
As we reported, G-Eazy was arrested in Stockholm this week for possession of cocaine and assault on a security guard after a fight in the V.I.P. section of a nightclub following his concert. He was found with two baggies and a rolled up $100 bill.
During a police interrogation, the musician admitted to purchasing 1.5 grams of cocaine, but refused to rat on who sold him the drugs.
He was charged with the crimes and given fines, probation and a suspended sentence before getting released from custody and leaving the country.
It appears he went to Norway after Sweden, which is only a short ferry ride away from his concert in Copenhagen.
