She-Haw! ‘FarmHer’ TV Show Continues to Grow Attention for Women in Agriculture

A television show chronicling the life of women working in the farming business is delivering another season of even more female badass mother-shuckers.

In case you haven’t yet seen it, “FarmHer”¬†airs weekly on RFD-TV and follows multiples families with strong women who work in various facets of the agriculture business, including crops, cattle and even oysters.¬† The show is currently in its second season. The founder of Farmher and host of the show is Marji Guyler-Alaniz. The show is one of the higest rated lifestyle shows for the network. Marji founded Farmher after watching a superbowl commercial, and says it not only a tv show but is an “online community bringing woman to the forefront of agriculture.”

This week’s episode features a woman who owns and operates an oyster farming business in Maine.
