Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren was sentenced for driving nearly 100 MPH on a Florida interstate … and she was ordered to do what every driver dreads the most.
During a hearing last month, Nordegren's attorney entered a plea of no contest. The judge presiding over the case ordered Nordegren to attend Driver Improvement School — aka driving school. Nordegren must complete the four-hour course by July 4.
Nordegren will also have to pay over $350 in fines and court costs.
As The Blast first reported, Nordegren was pulled over back in February while driving in Delray Beach, Florida after she was caught speeding on the interstate.
According to court records, Tiger’s ex-wife was driving a 2015 white Cadillac when an aircraft pilot SGT clocked her going 95 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
The aircraft radioed to Florida Highway Patrol and they were able to locate Nordegren and pull her over.
Last year, Elin was cited for speeding in Florida while driving 57 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. She chose to complete traffic school in that case.
