Sources close to Drake tell The Blast that not only was he never booked to perform at Fousey’s concert on Sunday, but he “definitely doesn’t know that guy and this is the first he has ever heard of him.”
For those who aren’t in the know, Fousey is a popular YouTuber prankster who has spent the past week promoting a last-minute, large-scale free concert at the Greek Theatre called “Hate Dies, Love Arrives” which was prematurely shut down after a false bomb threat.
In the days leading up to the event, Fousey heavily promoted the concert under the guise that his new BFF Drake was scheduled to appear. Fousey hyped up the celebrity appearance with YouTube videos and dozens of tweets with Drake’s image, tag and use of his song “God’s Plan” in conjunction with his event.
The day of the concert, Fousey claimed the rapper would only show up if he got 2 million live viewers. He also tweeted to his 1.9 million followers, “The next time you see me, I’ll be on stage with @Drake giving a speech delivered to me from God.” Several hours later, the event had been shut down and Drake never showed.
need 2,000,000 viewers by 9PM for @Drake to grace the stage at the first ever HATE DIES LOVE ARRIVES concert held for free for love in LA!

Keemstar – who is making an entire documentary about Fousey’s failed event – sat down with the YouTuber the day after his concert, alongside fellow YouTubers Shane Dawson and Adam 22, on his show. When Keemstar asked Fousey to tell fans how he actually met Drake, the prankster admitted he didn’t actually meet Drake.
